Cleaning Guidelines for Nanik® Wood Blinds

To keep wood blinds looking as beautiful as the day they were purchased, it is important to clean them periodically.

• Nanik wood blinds should be dusted regularly. Use a clean cloth, feather duster or oil treated cloth.
• Using either Murphy’s® Oil Soap Spray Formula* or Murphy’s Soft Wipe™, follow the manufacturer’s directions on package. In order to avoid moisture damage to your blind, it is extremely important to follow these instructions and not modify them.
  *Due to differences in formulations, do not use Murphy’s Oil Soap Pourable Liquid Formula as a refill for this spray.
• Vacuum blinds as needed by running the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner periodically over the slats or vanes. Clean the slats when tilted in the closed position.
• Do not wash blind as the wood will absorb water and warpage may occur.

Prior to general use, it is suggested that a small sample area be tested before cleaning the entire blind. The use of non-approved cleaning agents may void your Nanik warranty.
